I offer a high quality, welfare-focussed cat grooming and smaller animal grooming services. I am a qualified cat groomer and I’ve been in business for 3 years.  Prior to qualifying as a cat groomer, I worked as a special need’s teacher for over a decade. I developed many transferable qualities and skills which include:  understanding stress triggers, ability to closely read and react to body language, how to reduce sensory input alongside lots empathy and patience. In Spring 2018 I decided to follow my passion and trained as a cat groomer at KD Grooming in Wincanton Somerset.   I was trained by Kelly, winner of Pooch Perfect 2021, and Jodie, an amazing cat groomer.

I work in a holistic way, ensuring that the welfare of your cat is the priority.  I read your cat’s body language and facial expressions and so don’t use any face covering muzzles.  I’m a force free and scruff free groomer. This means that I work with your cat and give him or her breaks as needed.  I work to the tolerance of each individual cat.  I keep the potential stress triggers as low as possible, my salon has pheromone plug ins (feliway) and I play soft cat calm music
